Christmas in Asheville

On December 21st we drove from GA to NC to enjoy Christmas with our family and especially Papa's little girl - Lexie. We attended Sunday service with the family at Central United Methodist Church, a beautiful downtown church in Asheville.

We returned to Central Church on Christmas eve to enjoy the children's service at 3:00. During the service many of the children came forward dressed as Shepherd's, Angels and Wise men. It was a wonderful service for all.

Christmas morning Lexie got everyone up at 6:30 AM to see what Santa had left for everyone. She got a beautiful doll house, a Red Rider tricycle and a Darby doll, plus many other toys, clothes and games. The other set of grandparents joined in the fun and in the traditional Christmas dinner.

The day after Christmas we took Lexie to a local park to enjoy her new trike. She did great for a 3 year old, only fell once, but got up and back on as if nothing had happened.
On Thursday December 27th, we'll drive to SC to visit GGB's family, then on to GA to pick up leaves and attend the neighborhood New Year's Party with bonfire, fire works and fun and fellowship. On January 1st we'll drive back to FL .
